Fixes for torn fabric, sticking screens, bent bars and worn parts, so a tired screen goes back to working like new.
Screens work hard. Sun fades fabric, wind tugs at edges, pets scratch and the occasional bump bends a bar. Most problems can be fixed without replacing the whole screen. A quick repair can bring back smooth movement, a tight seal and a clean look.
We start with a careful inspection of the fabric, tracks, housing, motor and bottom bar. We find the cause, not only the symptom, and explain what needs to be repaired, what can wait and what should be replaced. Then we make the repairs, adjust the system and test it, so you know it is ready for the next season. We often find that a screen that seems worn out simply needs a few small parts. A new guide, a fresh bottom bar or a replaced end cap can transform how it moves. When that is the case, we say so and charge accordingly, because the goal is to keep your existing system working well for as long as possible.
We look at every part and test the movement. A list with photos shows you what we found and why.
Small holes can be patched. Larger tears or worn areas may call for new fabric. We explain which is better.
Bottom bars, rollers, tracks and guides can wear or bend. We straighten, replace or adjust them.
After repairs, we run the screen through full cycles and adjust limits and seals so it works smoothly.
