Troubleshooting and repair for screens that stop, stutter, move slowly or no longer answer the remote.
When a screen stops responding, it can feel like a big problem. Often it is a small one: a dead remote battery, a lost pairing, a tripped switch or a loose connection. Other times, a motor needs adjustment or replacement. A methodical check finds the cause quickly.
We test power, controls, the motor and the mechanical parts in order. We re-pair remotes, reset limits, replace batteries and repair or replace motors when needed. We choose replacements that fit your existing housing and controls where possible, and we explain the options if a motor is no longer made. When a motor does need replacing, we use the opportunity to improve things. A newer motor may be quieter, may offer better programming or may link to sensors you did not have before. We explain the choices clearly, keep the same mounting wherever possible and test the new motor through full cycles before we leave.
Batteries, pairing, breakers and switches are checked first. Many problems end right there.
We listen to the motor, measure power and test limits. A motor that hums but does not turn, or runs slowly, points to different causes.
If a motor has failed, we match its size, torque and control type and install a replacement that works with your system.
After a motor or remote change, we reset the limits and re-pair remotes, so everything works as before.

You tell us about the patio, the bugs or sun that bother you and the timeline, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We walk the patio, feel the sun, check the beams and columns, show fabric samples and talk through the layout.
We measure every opening carefully, write a proposal and coordinate any association approvals or electrical permits.
Your screens are made to size, then housings, tracks and motors are mounted and wired.
We set limits, pair remotes and keypads, check the seals and test every screen through full cycles.
We show you every control, share care tips and leave you to enjoy your first evening outside.
Limits, obstructions or a weak motor are common reasons. We diagnose it.
Often it is the battery or pairing. We check that first.
Often yes, if it fits. We inspect first.
Many are done in one visit.
Sometimes. Often replacement is simpler.
